Your birth data stays yours

Your chart is computed from the birth details in the link you hold. Without an account, those details live in that link — in your browser — and are not stored on our servers. If you create an account and save a chart, we store what you saved so your pages load without retyping, and you can delete it at any time. We never sell your data, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

The free product needs no account. The birth date, time and place you enter are encoded into the page address (the URL) and the chart is computed from there on request. Treat a chart link like the personal data it carries: anyone you share it with can open the same chart.

If you sign in and choose to save a chart — yours or someone you're comparing with — those birth details are stored in our database, linked to your account, for exactly one purpose: loading your pages without re-entering them. Saved charts can be deleted from your account at any time, and deleting one removes it from our database.

Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email address, so an account is just: your email, and whatever charts you chose to save. We use Supabase to manage authentication and storage, and Resend to deliver the codes. Your address is used for sign-in codes and — if you explicitly left it on the premium page — a heads-up when premium opens. No newsletters you didn't ask for.

Premium is paid through Stripe, which handles your card details directly; we never see or store them. We keep the Stripe customer and subscription references that tell us your account is premium. When you unlock a single chart, we also keep a record of which chart was bought (its birth date, hour and gender), linked to your account, so that chart stays unlocked. Your birth details are never sent to Stripe.

We run our own first-party analytics: a short, fixed list of product events (a chart was completed, a share button was tapped, a paywall was hit) recorded in our own database with a random anonymous identifier. There is no Google Analytics, no ad pixel, and no cross-site tracking. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in and to count free-tier usage.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view counter run by our hosting provider. Before a page address is sent to it, everything after the ?is removed — so your birth details, which live in the chart's address, never reach it. It records which pages are visited and, for a chart, whether you arrived from the encyclopedia; nothing about who you are.

Chart readings on this site are computed by open-source astronomical code, never guessed by a model. When the conversational reading feature is live, the question you type and the already computed chart context are sent to an AI provider to write the answer; your birth details are not used to train anyone's models.

Vercel hosts the site (and, like every web host, keeps standard server logs). Supabase stores accounts and saved charts. Resend delivers sign-in emails. Stripe processes payments. Each processes data only to provide that service to us.

Use the product without an account and nothing is stored. Delete a saved chart and it's removed. For anything else — including deleting your account and everything attached to it — email hello@ppstar-astrology.com and we'll handle it.
