The Treasurer (天府, Tiān Fǔ — also written tianfu) is one of the 14 main stars of Zi Wei Dou Shu: the vault of heaven — steady, capable, a keeper and grower of assets.
Its nature
Tian Fu is the southern sovereign and the treasury star: steady, capable and quietly commanding. It builds, keeps and grows what others scatter, and crises tend to make it calmer rather than rattled. This is the banker's and administrator's star — conservative, trustworthy, and superb at holding things together.
The shadow side
The Treasurer's caution is also its ceiling. Protecting what already exists can crowd out reaching for what could be; it guards the vault so well that it sometimes forgets a vault is only worth what it lets you build.

Where you find the Treasury, look to the Minister; where you find the Minister, seek the Treasury — Tian Fu and Tian Xiang are read as a pair, each completing the other.
