The Travel palace — 迁移, Qian Yi, also called the Migration palace — governs the outside world: relocation, work and life away from home, journeys, and the reception you get from people who do not know you.
It sits directly opposite the Life palace, and the two are read as one axis. The Life palace is you at home, in your own character; the Travel palace is the version of you that walks into an unfamiliar room.
