The Strategist (天机, Tiān Jī — also written tianji) is one of the 14 main stars of Zi Wei Dou Shu: the mind in motion — quick, adaptable, endlessly planning.
Its nature
Tian Ji is intelligence itself: fast, analytical and endlessly curious, usually thinking a step ahead of the room. It excels at planning, advising and connecting dots others miss, and it does its best work in a supporting or advisory seat rather than out front alone. This is the counsellor's star — the one who sees the whole board.
The shadow side
The Strategist overthinks. Restless and easily bored, it changes course before the harvest and scatters its gifts across too many interests; its lifelong lesson is to settle on one or two fields and let a plan actually mature.
