The Maverick (廉贞, Lián Zhēn — also written lianzhen) is one of the 14 main stars of Zi Wei Dou Shu: the most complex star — official and rebel, magnetic and intense.
Its nature
Lian Zhen is the hardest star to sum up: both the disciplined official and the rebel, magnetic, intense and principled in its own way. It carries real charisma and a strong artistic streak, and it thrives in competitive, creative or unconventional arenas — law, design, performance, anything with edge.

The Maverick runs to emotional extremes and feels a pull toward risk whenever life goes quiet. Its charisma attracts entanglements; its intensity, unmanaged, turns into the dramas and disputes the star is warned about.
