The Advocate (巨门, Jù Mén — also written jumen) is one of the 14 main stars of Zi Wei Dou Shu: the great gate of speech — questioning, persuasive, weighty with words.
Its nature
Ju Men is the star of the mouth: it questions what others accept, and its words carry unusual weight. This is the star of the lawyer, teacher, analyst and broadcaster — persuasion, debate and clear argument are its birthright, and turning that verbal gift into a livelihood is its whole path.
The shadow side
The same mouth that opens doors can start fires. Ju Men attracts disputes and misunderstandings; suspicion and a sharp tongue are its lifelong lesson, and it does best when it aims its words at a subject rather than at people.
